This is a guide to the cheapest Manchester Airport hotels.  If you have a stopover and want to keep the cost down as much as possible, these are the hotels we would suggest.  The prices are correct as of 2010 and are based on 2 adults sharing a room.

Premier Inn Manchester Airport

This is a great Manchester Airport budget hotel.  You can get a night’s accommodation here for under £40.  For a bit more, you can book long term parking along with your room.  It is a 3 star hotel, about a mile from the terminals.

Holiday Inn Manchester Airport

You can get a room at this hotel for under £60.  It’s a 3 star hotel, about 5 minutes’ drive from the airport.  There’s a shuttle bus to the terminals, but there is a charge for this.  The Holiday Inn also charges for the WiFi connection, which is acquirable throughout the building.  Rooms with long term parking are on offer, but these cost more.

Bewley’s Hotel Manchester Airport

This hotel also falls into the under-£60 bracket and is the cheapest of the on-site hotels.  Bewley’s is a 3 star establishment within 5-10 minutes travel distance of all the terminals.   They also run a free shuttle bus and there’s complimentary WiFi world wide web access throughout the building, so even more savings can be made.  Long term parking rates are offered.

Etrop Grange

Accommodation at this hotel can also be secured for under £60 at certain times.  It’s the cheapest of the 4 star hotels near Manchester Airport.  It is 2 minutes’ drive away and they wage complimentary transfers to and from the terminals.  Whilst you are a guest here you can also make use of the complimentary WiFi internet.  There is parking for residents but no long term parking available.   

Manchester Airport Marriott Hotel

It’s doable to book a room here for under £70.  It’s a 4 star hotel, about a mile and a half from the airport.  There is a shuttle service and long term parking acquirable – both of these cost extra.  The guest rooms have a WiFi world wide web connection but this is also a chargeable service.  For the extra money you get air conditioning, soundproofing, the choice of 2 on-site restaurants and access to the leisure facilities, including a swimming pool.
