Nothing is worse than to have plans and not be healthy to get to your destination on time. It’s also good to carry both a first aid kit and automobile emergency kit when traveling by automobile. Remember to bring couple gallons of water…one for drinking and one for the vehicle in case it overheats.

Depending on the location you are traveling to and weather conditions, be sure you pack warm clothing and shoes, any medical prescriptions and supplies that might be needed, snacks and activities for the kids. Books for older children are good and of course it’s rare this day for children to go anywhere without some kind of musical device and earphones. Pillows and blankets are a good intent for naps.
